This was an isolated shot of a storm I was chasing on the way to work for BHP at the time heading towards Coppabella. I thought wouldn’t it be nice to get a strike in the paddock with the tree on the left. So, I set up when everything was aligned, and the sun was setting just right a bolt struck the paddock dead centre. There wasnt too many other images after that strike but its by far one of my favourites as you can see exactly where the bolt hit the paddock.
