It is an emission nebula (star forming nebula) located about 4000 light years from Earth in the constellation Ara.
 
The image was taken from a back yard in Winton Central Queensland, Australia.
 
The image was taken using a Skywatcher Esprit 120ED refractor telescope with a ZWO ASI6200MM-P colour camera.
 
A total of 16hrs of images was captured to process this image.
