Photography is by its very nature a
powerful way of conveying a message. A photograph knows no
borders or boundaries
in our world. In
an instant a photograph can shape how a place or event is perceived by
the masses. It is this power which
photography holds that drives
my passion for the art. As a photojournalist it is
paramount above all else to record an event
as faithfully as possible. For
it is not the photographers place to distort or taint the events which
unfold before the lens.
But instead
to simply document the events around
them as they happen.
The very first time
I got on a plane, it landed in Eastern Europe. My time in
Slovakia and other Eastern
European countries forever
changed how I see the world. But it was not until fate
took me to Paris one
winter that I truly found
my deepest passion in photography. Since that first cold,
damp, beautiful night in
Paris behind the camera I
have been driven to explore the world in hopes of allowing others to
better
understand the beauty and
complexity of the world around each of us.
